The Guys

If you don’t know us already… you’re gonna want to! Read up on us three amigos. We are three guys with three very different backgrounds and we are sure to experience this trip in very different ways.

Eric… aka ejbyrer

I was born in raised in the corn and cow flatlands of Shelbyville, Indiana (more or less Indianapolis area).  I very recently graduated from Ball State University with a degree in musical theatre. I’ve never been outside the USA, and I swore an oath to myself a long time ago that I would go abroad after I graduated (whew) and before student loans kicked in (yikes). Hence, Eurobites. I’ve been dreaming of a trip like this since before I can remember, and sometimes it’s still hard to believe that it’s actually happening! My motto is ‘Nothing ventured, nothing gained.’ I’m excited for whatever this trip dishes out; the good, the bad and the ugly.

Colin… aka dcolinlee

Originally from Texas, I just finished up 3 years in the cornfields of Indiana completing my Bachelor’s in Theatre. Translation, I spent a whole lot of money to be homeless and unemployed and now I’ma goin’ travelin’! I’m fascinated by and make fun of pretty much everything, including myself, and as the sole swinging single on this trip will do my best to give you all the dirty deets of European single life. I think life should be a collection of stories that are and can be shared, so me, I’m collecting all the stories I can!

Greg… aka gvjosken

After 4 years studying architecture at Ball State University, I decided to take a bit of a switch and dive into the world of marketing, communications and social media. For the past year I have been working down at the Happiest Place on Earth, that’s right, Disney World. It has been a great year but now I am ready to leave the bubble and see what makes the world tick. So architecture and marketing…How are these worlds connected? Hopefully you start to see the link though my postings and find out that there is much more overlap in life than you might think.

hey have to say i love your blog have been reading it in fascination for about an hour now. i head over to the UK ok tuesday and i was just wondering if you guys stayed in any good hostels in london while you were there?

Thanks for reading! We actually stayed in two hostels and did a little couch surfing as well. The first hostel was St. Christopher’s Inn in Greenwich. It was nice but, but a 20 or 30 min ride on the tube to get into the city. We also stayed at Palmer Lodge which was wonderful. Probably the best part was the curtains on each bed so you could block out the noise/light and get a good nights rest. Let us know how you like your visit.
